ICANtalk online: What is ICAN?

Since ICAN was founded in 2007, 541 NGOs in over 100 countries have joined the campaign. After the adoption of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons on July 7th, 2017, ICAN was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for its efforts to rid the world of the most inhumane and indiscriminate weapons ever created. But how are all these people and associations organised? Who decides what and how do they communicate?

ICAN’s Campaign Coordinator, Daniel Högsta, is a member of the international staff team in Geneva and will join us on this online talk. He will share with us his insights from 8 years of working with ICAN. You can ask him anything you always wanted to know about the campaign, its actions and organisational structures.

Register here, we will send you the login details shortly before the webinar.
